SISU Consulting (Australia) Pty Ltd (ABN 77 639 280 041) (“SISU”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information. It also explains how you can access or correct your information, or make a complaint. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

The personal information we collect depends on how you deal with us. It may include:

  • information about your use of our website, such as pages visited, browser type and IP address

We only collect sensitive information, such as criminal history or health information, when it’s needed for a specific role or engagement and you have consented, or when the law requires or allows it.

How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you wherever we can. For example, you might give it to us when you:

Sometimes we collect information from other people, with your consent or where it’s reasonable to do so. This includes referees, clients, recruitment platforms and publicly available sources such as LinkedIn.

Why we collect it

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and provide our consulting, assurance and workforce services

  • meet our legal, contractual and regulatory obligations
  • improve our website and services

We won’t use your information for direct marketing unless you’ve agreed to it. You can opt out of marketing at any time.

Who we share it with

We may share personal information with:

  • clients, when we put you forward for a role or engagement (always with your knowledge)
  • referees, background-checking providers and government security vetting agencies, with your consent
  • service providers who support our business, such as IT, hosting, email and payroll providers

We don’t sell personal information.
